Step children :<}} [boat related]

Post by Oyster » Sun Jun 06, 2010 4:30 am

There has been numerous comments of obsessive behavior in the area of boats and we read about folks building new ones when they finish their builds here. I think it would be interesting to see what other boats do you presently own other than your present builds? Of course photos are required. Seeing pshyco's neat fishing skiffs and hulls brings a special rumble to my bones too, those old working hulls which has stood the test of time for sure too.

I'm currently working on re-canvassing an old cedar strip canoe...

(If my memory serves me well, it was you who pointed me to the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association site. That has been very helpful... Thanks)

Well you have your ski boat/runabout already and your currently building your performance boat so I guess your next one needs to be human or wind powered..

Do models count? If they do I have more where this came from. :D Hey Oyster, turn about is fair play and we all know that you are well versed on posting pictures. So I'm calling you out. :D

Nice one Oyster, that's the way to get the pics flying!

Where's the pics of that one you had with the heavy keel and all?

you know the one, you posted pics of it over in my "morn'n" thread in New Members. When we were talking about tunnels.

I like the line of that boat there. She's a looker.

Oyster,

I was impressed with her when I saw pictures of her on the trailer, but I'm even more impressed with her on the water. Where she looks right at home. :D Well, since I didn't get an answer to my question about models counting I'm going to post another one. This is an Elliott Bay Steam Launch. Here is a link to see the steam engine running.

Well, I couldn't resist. People still laugh at this pic of 10' of kayak stickign out of the back of the truck. As soon as I get Midnight done, I am going back and giving this thing a proper finish. It was my experimentation and now needs to be fixed.

Dave,
I see you don't like tailgaters either. That ATD will keep them off your rear bumper.
