I have some 3/8 okoume plywood I would like to use for gussets, keel lamination and stringer lamination. If you read the book it says okoume is not strong and has low rot resistance epoxy should take care of the rot resistance. I never used the stuff before a lot of people must be using it.But if fur is the way to go then I will go with it. I would appreciate any input its nice to do it right the first time.

Re: Okoume questions.
Bob,
I moved your post to the "Wood and Plywood" section of the Forum where folks are much more likely to see your post and respond. The "Glen-L Announcements" area is for the use of Glen-L Marine Designs to post information we believe will be new and interesting to our builders.
Thanks for understanding.

Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting as to what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the result of the vote.

Re: Okoume questions.
okoume plywood would be fine for your gussets as long as it is marine grade. there are many people who use it in there buildsBob Gerdisch wrote:I have some 3/8 okoume plywood I would like to use for gussets, keel lamination and stringer lamination.
