Hi from NEW ZELAND. I need some help!

Postby CharlesA » Sun Sep 10, 2017 2:08 pm

Hi All! My name is Charles, I live in New Zealand and I am new to the Glen L family. I am in the process of looking to start my very first boat build. I am look at the Ski King, Zip or maybe the Squirt - something around 15 feet preferably so thinking maybe not the Squrit. Is there anyone in NZ that I can chat with about the build process and their experience. I live in Palmy North.
Also want to through out there to see if ther is any unfinished projects in NZ that someone is wanting to sell?
Can't wait to get under way with a build. Absolutely stunning boats. Keen to hear any thoughts, advice, recommendations! I have not done anything quite like this before so will be a big learning curve :) Thanks heaps! Charles

Charles

I show 6 builders in NZ. Four on the North Island and two on the South Island. I haven't updated this map for a while. So, there may be a few more. Dave-NZ is in Auckland. He came to the Gathering last year and did the Hakka. I think he was doing a Tahoe (Great Guy!). When you have three post, you can do Searches. They should show up pretty easily.

We love NZ,
Bill

Hi Charles, I'm in Rotorua and have started a "Riviera". I have not touched it since my son was born over 4 years ago and we now have another addition so I'm unlikely to get near it any time soon.

If ever you are over this way you're more than welcome to have a look.

This forum is fantastic! You will find answers to all your questions and plenty of motivation!

Cheers,

Craig.

Hi Charles,

Even though it's bigger than what you are looking at, my Riviera project would be available for a very good price! ;-)

Craig.
