Dear Mr. Witt:

A while back I sent you a letter as to a problem I was having with my Tunnel King porpoising. Since then I have been trying different things. I found out what it needed was to add a slight wedge to about the last twelve inches of the boat's planing surface which corrected the problem. It runs very good now at top speeds and I'm looking forward to trying out a stronger engine.

In your last letter you had asked when I take more pictures that you would be interested in some action shots, so I'm enclosing some.

I am now building the Renegade, which is taking me longer to build than usual, but almost completed. As I get older, I find myself taking longer to do things and the bigger the boat the harder it is to do without help.

I have been building boats now for 45 years using other plans and designing some of my own. I enjoy using your plans the most, they are easy to follow and are accurate. I thank you for supplying boat plans for the amateur boat builders for such a long time and look forward to seeing new designs.

Sincerely,
Edward
