This is 'Broadway'. Broadway is a passageway fore & aft with an overhead trolly for handling stores/ammo to either end of the ship. Especially useful for moving components of the 16" rounds from magazines to turrets.
The movie makers of the Stevan Segal film were allowed to clean-up broadway for the making of the film 'Under Seige'.
