Sometimes it helps to go back to the basics whether it’s with marketing a business or building a boat.
We’re working on making our online store a bit easier to navigate and will be adding links on the design pages to Customer Photos & Project Registries among other changes. And, we’d like to add a section for each design that lists what you need to get started since we get a lot of questions about this.

Each year at the Gathering, Lauren and Bill Edmundson put together an “Awards” ceremony. Now, before visions of Academy Awards and red carpets start filling your mind, let me ‘splain.
These are totally fun awards that cannot be sought after or earned by any measure. They are completely at the whim of Lauren and Bill. In past years there have been awards like Best Legs, Nuts & Bolts, No Show Joe and Tom Sawyer.

Building a boat as a hobby is alive and well! In spite of current economic times, people are still building boats. They may not be laying down huge sums of moolah for a brand spankin’ new boat, but the desire to create a boat with ones own two hands is more popular than it’s ever been.
