Sliding base - Stainless steel fitting with a slide for a 5/8" stainless steel sail track. Fits boom with space between tangs approximately 1 1/2". Tangs are 3/4" x 6". Has a captive pin for for the sail tack and an eye for the downhaul. (12 oz.)
