Hull type: High speed planing hull with full length modified
deep vee. Compound bottom with bulbous section at the keel and reverse curve at
the chine. Designed for double diagonal plywood planking on the bottom and
sheet plywood on the sides.
Power: Inboard marine engine, gasoline or diesel with appropriate reduction
gears, usually 1 1/2: 1 or 2:1. Engine may be stern mounted with either vee
drive or outdrive unit. Twin screws may be used, centrally mounted with
addition of motor box in the cockpit.
Can the hull be extended or shortened? Extended: No. Can be shortened up to 10%
by re-spacing the frames from the aft end of the stem to the transom a
proportional amount. We do not recommend increasing the beam. |
