Re: Modern Hard Top? Any body build one yet

there are Glen-L plans for the Dory cabins, I think it is a set of 5 cabins.
Modern? I dunno, but I bet you can get joinery details, window openings, doors, etc., off those plans and adjust as required

Re: FOOD for G-15

Quite some time ago, I did mention bringing back the Friday Low Country boil.
I now have the Poker Run,
However, if I can recruit some assistance with prep on the boil, I can still swing that.
If I had a sous-chef volunteer, I could do this.

Is this why Inboards are pigs ??

I suppose we all have seen it or heard about it, the boat yards that convert inboard powered boats to outboard. Bertrams, Blackfins, you name it, all the boats that originally had inboards installed from factory. They strip out all the inboard hardware, install a transom bracket, then hang big twin ...

Re: Anyone have schematic for 8-pin square plug (engine) ?

Some success this morning. Compression check is good, this has been sitting dry and abandoned for 15 or 20 years. With the wire connector color codes and a little test light, I was able to wake up the engine ECM and get a self test and the code 12 on the blinking light. code 12 being a passing grade...

oh yeah, lots better
is there anything to gain by widen the forward 3 slots, to same distance as rear slot?
Ken,
I’m not following you.
Matt B
aft slot stays same, forward 3 slots extend equidistant to outer perimeter

Re: 20ft Texas Barrel

yeah, pants too big.
sitting here with morning coffee, looking at that pic......what if,
trim platform fore/aft as much as possible, trim outboard sides platform to emulate curve of transom bands, take ouitboard ends of slots to nearly meet new curved edge
just thinking out loud

Re: Lee's Monaco utility build

Ken, I guess I need to clarify my comments. I originally started with trying to have the prop shaft intersect the bottom relative to frame two as called out in the plans. However with the stretch, that positioned my strut too far forward. The strut location is not specified but I measured on the dr...

Re: Lee's Monaco utility build

I reread my comments,
the driveline doesn't actually move aft, but it stays in its original distance regarding transom, strut, hole. this leaves the stretch appearing forward of the engine. as a result the engine appears to move aft an CG moves slightly aft
