Re: Tom's Tahoe

Eddie,

Tom is correct that you can raise the sheer but it may not be as simple as you might think. I suggest you read our article on changing boat plans under the section, "Changing Freeboard": https://www.glen-l.com/changing-plans/

Re: Zip Complete Wood Parts Kit Now Available!

Paul,

You'll need to arrange your own US shipping address as we don't have any border town addresses for shipping. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you!

Re: Tom's Tahoe

Welcome to the Forum, Eddie! If you're looking for a Riva type design, I think the Tahoe is closest. Re: Rudders, struts, propshafts and more from Glen-L

You're not bugging me! I sure hope I didn't give you that impression. I just sent an email to Marine Hardware to see if they do skeg rudders. Buck Algonquin has them, but there's are pretty much square. Ken has specific dimensions so the rudder will fit to the bottom of the boat. I'll let you know w...

Thanks Steve. If you hadn't said your dog was sniffing that drill I may have thought he was holding it in his mouth and thought you had a helper!

Mike, props to you! What an awesome build...

Super nice, Brendon! Glad your weights are getting a workout. I've found that kettlebells make good doorstops, fyi.

Re: Newbie # 2 from Montana

Mike,

We have a couple of articles about oars in our WebLetter archives. Although not specific to the Glen-L 15, this should help:

Re: 16 ft drift boat WB HS dead rise question

This boat was designed for the passengers to be seated forward and the guide seat aft. So yes, it will probably affect the performance.
