Ahem....you may be getting older than you think. :lol: I've rowed since I was a kid in the Puget sound country. Now that I'm 'older' :x I find that I'm sorta 'tippy' when I'm out in my Jon boat. Anything round bottom, Canoe etc is gonna be tippy. You just didn't notice all that when you were young ...

I row it just fine but my friends and kids are having trouble. they are beginners. built this design so they could learn . They can not, even if I let them row my racing scull. I thought this model would beore stable.

Rowing a Sculling Skiff
I built a 17' Sculling skiff to the plans and the boat seems to be less stable then I would have thought. I have rowed Racing shell that are very unstable and I know how to row. I thought the skiff would allow a beginner to learn how to row. is this the nature of this design? I also have Wherry and ...
