Re: Who is coming and where?

The 2 Tru-Grits are on the north side of Great Loop (canada), doubt will make it this year.
Ray and Curt, I hope you guys can post some pics from your great loop adventure!

Ray usually does name badges, I will be glad to do that in his stead. I will start a new thread to handle that.

Re: Poker Run G15

Melissa I would love to take part if we can hitch a ride. The AmpEater-Aquatron would only have enough time to make it to the first stop and back at cruising speed of 4.8 mph. :D

Re: G15 Dates and Location

Melissa and I just booked a loft lodge room for Sept 23-26. Look forward to seeing all of y'all then. With the nice kitchen in the room, it won't be difficult to cook up a few dishes for meals. It looks like this may be the best gathering yet! Having 110 v power at the docks will make it easy to kee...

We could call the thurs afternoon run the "Beer run". Or "Paradise point run"

Their fb page says a new owner took over a year ago and made a ton of renovations. The food looks really good.

If I take the Aquatron I would call it the "Beer Crawl" :D

Re: Solar powered Amp Eater

The Official Race results are in.... 2020 results Wye Island Challenge.jpg Aquatron completed the race with an average speed of 4.69 mph. This is 86% of the hull speed. If we are able to enter the race again I would hope to end up with over 90% hull speed. I need to find time to get the Solar Panels...
