Re: Riviera project on EBAY
Dang, I have not been on here in at least a year and I come on and this is what I see! A Riviera is what I would build if I did this again. We are actually looking for a larger boat in the 21-25 ft range. The Malahini gets babied but it is just too small for our lake. We really only take it out on w...

Re: G-10
Well I missed another Gathering. Heck I already winterized the Malahini up at the lake. However, I was at Lake Tahoe last week and I do have a few little cuties to share: First is the Thunderbird. They have the engines out doing some work on her. The water was too low this year to even get her out o...

Re: After 4yrs I have a problem
now that is a good question!!! I have done absolutely nothing! My wife and I went back up to the lake Fri-Mon and and did not even go out on the boat. I'll have to work on it next time I go up.

Re: After 4yrs I have a problem
Hello Everyone, thanks for all the replies. I have only one block and some things do share a common connection. The wire I used was all 12 gauge marine wire. I think I need to disconnect everything and start by reconnecting at the bilge connections to see if they work then. Since both bilge pumps ha...

Re: After 4yrs I have a problem
No, I don't think I have an in-line fuse. The weird thing is the two bilge pumps work. They each have an on/off switch on the dash just like the lights and the horn button. Nothing else on that panel is working...it's just baffling. I think I need to completely disconnect every wire on that panel an...

After 4yrs I have a problem
Our lake gets rough on weekends and the Malahini is not so fun on that water. Now, after 4yrs, I have an electrical problem. Something has been beaten loose by the rough water. It all started a couple of weeks ago and I have been under my front deck and checked every fuse and ground. But, my radio, ...

Roberta, those are the photos I've been waiting for. They are keepers and will go into my collection of wooden boat photos.

Now that's just funny.

Re: Roberta's Torpedo
I can't believe it is done. Now what do we all do? BTW, I probably just missed this somewhere in the thread, but I don't see a name on the boat and I thought you always named your boats Oliver.

Re: Roberta's Torpedo
Roberta, you have done it again! That boat is just beautiful and in these latest pictures it looks huge. It also looks like it will ride higher in the water too. If you don't win some kind of major award, I'll be shocked.

Re: Father's Day 2015
Yeah, it does still get a lot of attention whenever we are out on the water. There is a partially built Riviera on ebay that I'm interested in. Does anyone know anything about that boat? Well it was there yesterday. Maybe someone bought it or it expired.

Father's Day 2015
We went up to the lake for the weekend and docked at a lakeside restaurant for some lunch. As we were leaving, I suddenly felt a little inadequate

Re: Hello from Georgia!
Welcome and good job taking over the project for your grandfather. I took over a boat for the son of a fellow who also passed a few years ago. He had built the hull and discovered he had cancer. The son planned to finish it but he had a pretty bad heart attack and decided to sell it. My oldest daugh...

Bill, I just noticed how big this boat is in the last few photos. She is going to be very comfy!

Re: Roberta's Torpedo
Roberta, this does nothing but demotivate me. I just don't have the patience and definitely not the skills to do this so I just say _ _ _ _ it! Yes, those blanks = the mother of all bad words and I should have my mouth washed out with Lifebuoy Soap! How appropriate.
