Many thanks Roberta for your kind words and wishes! I am very grateful to have had the support and encouragement of the builders on this forum... it has made all the difference in getting through the difficult times. We're cautiously optimistic about the upcoming move; the boat's in great shape and ...

Re: Klondike Build

Thanks Rich. We're going to Delta Marine Sales & Service in Stockton... They'll be doing the bottom paint and final assembly followed by launch and dock trials. We'll have a skipper on board to help us out with sea trials and the subsequent drive up the delta to Marina Village in Alameda.

Everything looks great Carl... top notch wiring harness and bilge plumbing. Be sure to allow ample anti siphon loops above DWL.

Re: Klondike Build

Bill,

This project has been an education from the start... right now I'm learning more about transport than I really want to know!

We'll see how it goes Friday.

Re: Sail rigs

Kevin,

I'm not familiar with the Minuet but in general if you get the size and center of area of the sail rig to match the plan spec you should be ok...

Check out this great thread by Pedro and parsj1957 for sail geometry calcs:
