Re: SEA KNIGHT

On my Tahoe the engine compartment bulkheads are bolted. The rear seat is also bolted. This is for future access. The seat will have to come out if I need to remove the tank to access the rudder. Put a lot of thought to this! You don't want to use a Sawzall to work on your boat!

Carl

I didn't use adhesive. The pressure from the slight curve holds it.

RC

I drilled holes in the frame and ran a PVC pipe through. I sanded and flared the ends of the pipe and ran my wiring through it. Use a vacuum cleaner to pull a string through and make a loop to pull the wiring.

Re: Count Down

We had several of us go to Mystic a few years ago. We had Neel, Bergy, Rodger, Mike, Lauren, and I there. It's a great show and place. Enjoy! There is a warehouse of old boats there that you could easily spend hours in there. Sad, but, fascinating.

Re: Key Largo Build in Charleston

Mickfly 3m4000uv comes in white. It holds up well. If you want black you'll have to use 3m3000uv. I put it on after all the varnish. I use 1 7/8" deck boards with 1/4" grooves. 1 7/8" is the width of "2" masking tape". I fill the grooves then smooth it with the bottom of a plastic spoon. Let it dry ...

You might look at Jamestown Thixo or West Six10. Not cheap. But sure easy.
