wish that was the problem.

Last month running about 2500 rpm, smelled rubber burning and engine temp went up. Raw water cooled. Impeller failed. I was close to ramp so engine didn’t get excessively hot. I pulled the impeller, found some broken pieces. Replaced and all tight, no leaks. Launched shortly after that and not pulli...

Thanks Mick. I have two batteries under the rear seat. I think weight distribution is just about right with them in rear. Boat planes out pretty quickly. Will try and take some pics tomorrow of the installation.

No insulation on engine box on my build and engine noise is pretty minimal. Exhaust noise much more prevalent without mufflers but that rumble Is simply awesome .

Nice. Had a relay issue on our big boat (berthed in Emeryville) and took a while to trace it down but sure was satisfying once I did. Looking forward to your launching! Congrats on the date Steve.

I did install the guard rail but didn’t have time prior to launch date to install the spray rails. I did plan on putting them on later but back seat stays dry without them fortunately. Still don’t have them after 5 yrs with no complaints from rear seat riders.

Steve, great to see your unbelievable progress on this build. Will you keep her I’m Alameda still? Would love to come visit once your in.
