Lawry: I put my transom drains on both sides of the keel as low in the bilge as possible. drains.jpg I used 1" brass drain tubes like these https://www.westmarine.com/buy/west-marine--transom-drain-tubes--P000355511 . The reason I considered relays is that I started looking at switches. I thought the planned circuit carried more amps than the switch was rated for, but I'm not sure of that now. obviously I need to learn much more :oops:

To run from the fuse block to switches and devices, I bought a spool of red and a spool of yellow 16 ga. I haven't gotten the wire to run from the battery to the fuse block yet. I know the length I need. Will figure out size later. Also, trying to figure out if I should use relays in aft for bilge p...

Thanks Biss. That looks like what I've been thinking. Control just aft of frame 3. I bought a control similar to what you have. I've been looking at the x-treme cables. They claim they can have a 4" radius bend

Malahini throttle control boxes

Can you post pictures of your throttle control boxes on your malahinis and how you mounted them, position in relation to seats, height, whether side mount or top mount? I've looked through the photos of other builds and there are no good pics of throttle control. I'm stuck trying to figure this out....

Lawry, there is a for sale thread on this forum. I would start there. There are other boat building forums that might be useful. I don't know what they are, but maybe someone else on here might be able to help.
