Re: books on wiring

Thanks Curt, Bill, Tab, polynimbus. I forgot, I do have Nigel Calder's book. I think I picked it up at one of the gatherings. I'll start there.

Re: modified malahini

Thanks Biss. That looks like what I've been thinking. Control just aft of frame 3. I bought a control similar to what you have. I've been looking at the x-treme cables. They claim they can have a 4" radius bend

Those look like they should do the trick. Shouldn't be that hard a weld.

Malahini throttle control boxes

Can you post pictures of your throttle control boxes on your malahinis and how you mounted them, position in relation to seats, height, whether side mount or top mount? I've looked through the photos of other builds and there are no good pics of throttle control. I'm stuck trying to figure this out....

Bob, sorry to hear that you will not be making the gatherings any more. I always enjoyed taking to you and seeing your beautiful Malahini. Good luck in Washington.

Re: What should I do with my Malahini?

Lawry, there is a for sale thread on this forum. I would start there. There are other boat building forums that might be useful. I don't know what they are, but maybe someone else on here might be able to help.

Re: What should I do with my Malahini?

Lawry, it seems like a nice build that needs a little love and an interior. You could sell it, Someone on the forum might be interested. There are many here that aren't building yet, but thinking about it. Also, you didn't say where you are located.
