Re: 25' Skiff Build

Thanks for that! I see what that is doing for you over my Sketchup app that I use for woodworking! Maybe ...

I don't know if Buck Algonquin is a viable source in your area but they do make the part.

Re: 25' Skiff Build

Yofish ok ...looked at the ProSurf software. I've played around in Google Sketchup but not really a marine application so missing important elements for developing a real boat. Are you using a known hull to begin developing your plates or is this something that comes from scratch? Thinking about pla...

Re: Rudder authority

Brian, glad you are trying the boat as built. Just get as much practice time in as you can in an area that is newbie friendly and then come back with your questions. I'm sure we can help you out.

Pretty shiny bits 😀 Always seems like we always wait for some problem or parts to get resolved. You sure have turned the corner on this and have a splash in sight!

Re: 25' Skiff Build

Yofish Amazing watching you build such a fine boat out of aluminum. I have been welding odds and ends in aluminum to maintain my docks motors and pontoon boats. I’m sure lots of hours go in to the learning curve before attempting a welding project like this. The wooden variety certainly is more forg...

Interlux Perfection Plus is the best I’ve found for use over epoxy base coatings.

Re: Rudders, struts, propshafts and more from Glen-L

Yes, I'm sure their prices are up to date, but that doesn't mean they are in stock...fyi. They are working to get things made though and we will add them to our site when we find out they're available. It takes a long time to get castings made and then machined. They'll get there! Maybe a better ap...

Bryan-
Congratulations on the flip! The hull looks beautiful!
I like your choice of power too. Should be reliable power once you do the rebuild.
