Mark, when you dealt with noah's, did you have any issues with the quality of the lumber they sent you? I will have a 15000 dollar order to them in the spring for the francis drake hull......as far as I know they are the only marine lumber shop in canada that handles the east coast.

Yeah, sounds real cool.......will be looking forward to meeting you, gayle, john, etc.......putting faces to names etc.......making it a regular thing in the future as my build goes.......I'll never be able to get my boat there, but pics and movies are just as good

Yeah, it should be quite pretty.....and since I'm a big Piano Guys fan, it'll be nice to be close to bryce canyon....... have you thought about doing something in the pacific northwest along the columbia river perhaps........with portland and vancouver there, and lots of places along the river.........

as far as I know we are figuring out the best way to get there.......thinking of flying into vegas the night before, staying there and driving up to powell for the weekend and the driving back to vegas on the sunday and flying home monday. make a little vacation out of it

is there a code for the hotel to get a reduced rate? I have talked to my SO, and she seems interested. We just have to wait til the first of the year to start making any reservations etc.

I'm considering going with my fiancee/wife......if I can talk her into a couple of nights in utah.......maybe rent a RV etc......that way I can talk to you guys and gals who have been involved in boatbuilding and get a few hints and tips for starting my own francis drake build.
