Hi Carl . Why not use a Biscuit joiner , makes life a lot easier .We use one at the "Men's Shed" for all our timber joints.

Welcome Sean, Happy New Year . Where in WA are you? I have built a Glen-l Renegade and used recycled Hoop pine for the frames that came off a 100 year old building . All my other timber and ply and fibreglass and epoxy , also paint came from " Boatcraft Pacific". I think they have an Agent in Perth....

Have sorted out the overheating, was the wrong thermostat 140 degree now fitted and running at 175.connected the interrupter switch and can now get out of gear. Had the motor tuned as well , was slightly retarded ,carby tuned as well . Will give it a run before the weekend . Kids want to go skiing b...

Welcome aboard Kobus . There is a section on houseboat plans on the Glen-l website .You will get plenty of help on the forum and when you start building post plenty of photo's.

Thank's Pete . Only a couple of problems , did not connect the shift interrupter switch which made it hard to get out of reverse. Accelerator has a flat spot also and running a bit warm. Will have to check out thermostat ,may need a lower temp setting . The one in is 160 degree and is supposed to ru...

Launched the boat on Sunday . Sorry no video, the wife forgot to put in a memory card. All went ok ,ran a bit warm ,will take boat for a tune up. Plenty of water running through the system. Bill I remembered to turn on the fuel tap . A few pics.

Hi Mark ,welcome aboard .When setting up your building make it a bit higher so you can crawl under to unbolt it prior to flipping, also measure twice cut once . Happy building and take your time and we all mistakes which can be remedied.

Have just got the seats back and in ,engine cover needs to be hinged and fitted. Boat is now registered and Launch date will be this Sunday.
