Is 3" channel really necessary for a Squirt? Maybe I'm missing something and I don't usually question designers, but I was just wondering. I would think 2" or 2.5" would be fine.
I have a Keel Guard on our boat and it's great. Only problem I had was my stem has quite a bit of curve to it and I had problems with getting some of the edges to stay glued down. I solved that problem by adding epoxy to the areas where it popped up. BTW, your project is looking great. Nice job
This is my second sup build and it's going much easier than the first one. The frame kit is the paulowina instead of the mahogany and I like it better. Is it worth the extra cost?
