Are you going with hydrolic steering or cable?I have a small steering wheel on cable on my fishing boat and sometimes I really have to pry it around to turn that 90 merc.

I saw a solution for that in "woodenboat" -2 bilge pumps -one alot larger than the primary pump hooked together with back flow preventer

When I did the wiring,I put one of those breaker switches in line between battery switch and main fuse panel up for'ward.Glad I did as while hooking up batteries-touched cables momentarily and popped that breaker.WHEW.Kinda tight in that battery drawer with big stiff cables and 2 batteries.

:D Maybe try building life size log cabin with rickety old tractor?(my first project)Alot of my build was during hurricane Andrew-wouldn't recommend as lumber prices really sucked.Maybe that's why I don't mind crooked stuff :lol:

I laid a thin piece of plexiglass over each pattern and using black sharpie magic marker,marked then cutout pattern with bandsaw-draw on ply and if other side is needed,flipped plexi overand drew.I did all the biggest pieces first,then went to each smaller parts in progression .That way,I only neede...

I think the 115 would be enough.Might have to go with power prop depending on load.I like to pop up on plane quickly and then back off a little to save fuel(won't work with "Chug") but works well with my fishing boat-1700 MonArk w/90 Merc. :D
