Re: Need advice on this trailer. Good deal?
I agree, I'd pass on that trailer. The bunks stick out too far and the axle is too far forward for the weight of the outboard hanging off the back. I don't think that trailer was originally made to have bunks that long.

That's right. I saw two different boats attributed to you and thought you must have made some modifications.
Now I am confused by your last line. Who is Drew?

Our Squirt can be seen on the Glen-L Boatbuilders Blog,
back up a couple of previous pages to Bill and Linda's Squirt.

Your Squirt looks awesome by the way! I don't mean to hijack this post, but how long between the two different finishes and the windshield delete?

Re: Harley Davidson museum.
There is a good motor cycle museum just outside of Birmingham. Yes, at Barber Motorsports Park, just east of B'ham. Beautiful facility. They also have some vintage Lotus open wheel race cars, and some other cool cars as well, but mostly motorcycles. It's a very cool museum, and we don't even ride m...

Re: Open Letter To Lurkers - Positive Post
I'm mostly a lurker. I check out the forum almost very day. I'm not currently building so I don't have anything to contribute or to seek advice on, other than the occasional praise. Not that praise should only be occasional here. I am amazed by the craftsmanship I see every day on this forum. I love...

Re: Prayer Request for vupilot
Speaking of Lance and Indy, have you heard of the 24 Hours of Booty? No, not that kind of booty. 24HOB is an amazing event that raises funds and awareness for the cancer community. It is a 24 hour cycling event that was started on "the Booty Loop" in Charlotte (hence the name) and has spread to othe...

Re: Monte Carlo engine compartment
Even with a 48" hatch opening, getting to various parts of the engine will be a struggle unless I can train my 4 year old grandson to slide in there! One of my favorite memories with my Granddad is dropping down into the engine compartment of their 28' cabin cruiser to help him diagnose an issue! I...
