Nice, I really like those side exit exhausts.
Me too! I think Innocence is Butch’s boat, Tahoe. Beautiful way to go for sure. I think that the Torpedo design would also look good with this option.

Ken, If you haven't already, you need to go watch the story on the Western Flyer. The setting is the book, Sea of Cortez, and the Western Flyer was the vessel that the book was written on. Great history and an awesome restoration. Watch 1st - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-DHWKnl_x4 And then you ...

Re: Omer 81-P stapler for free!

Just an update yawl. As stated above, special delivery all the way to Texas from Hawaii! I finally got around to installing air fitting and testing. The staple driver was stuck in the drive position so I secured it in my vise and disassembled the head. Under close inspection I noted excessive rust a...

Note that they also hold a propane bottle perfectly to keep the propane bottle from tipping when in truck to get filled. Or, while camping and you have a gas bar and lantern on it.

Love these Bill!

Re: Building The Vera Cruise

I've been staring at this picture all day, trying to visualize a different way of doing this that would have two seats. But I am sorry, I am going to stick to my original design on this. I am more interested in maximizing space and functionality in the aft cabin. If you look at the picture, you can...

Re: Building The Vera Cruise

How about two fuel tanks.... One under the stb seat and one under the port. Make the helm console and seat slightly narrower, the port base slightly wider. Put a matching seat on each side. That may give you room to pass through to the cabin. I'm sticking to my original suggestion: Seating for two ...

Re: Building The Vera Cruise

Just note that if you’re only putting 1 fuel tank to port, she’s gunna list to port hard on a full tank. Likewise on not keeping your seating proportional. A fuel tank location more central is a better option or..... so away with the pedestal Captain’s chair and build port and star seating, up high,...
