I can still see that I'll be okay with a 12 ft row boat in my garage, the idea was to build a Zip after the RowMe. The Zip is 14 ft,...and while one side of my garage can handle that length (I think), the ...

Re: Building a RowMe in New Jersey

That's going to be a fun project! I agree Matt! I just redid one of my bathrooms. It was an immense job and I've never tiled a wall before. However,...I watched a few youtube videos and now, friends are amazed that I did the work. I can tell you one thing, I now have a DEEP appreciation for all you...

Awesome, thanks to all of you. That really helped.

Hey Josh,...you're going to have to create a bloopers video once you're done with the zip.

Thanks Matt! I was in the local hardware store, and they had three. Didn't catch the sizes, but now I know what to look for.
By the way,...do you use an electric planer?

Re: New member from oregon

Hey Josh, question for you. In one of your videos, you had fared the sheers I believe,...down to where you actually got into the screws. I hadn't seen anyone's video where that happened (but then, no other video was so detailed). What did you use to do that, since I can't see that was great on the p...

Re: Building a RowMe in New Jersey

Called the lumberyard yesterday. The marine plywood is in,...they're just waiting for the lumber which should arrive today/tomorrow. So it looks like I'll get it all delivered this Friday. Picked up a ROS with a couple of different grades if sandpaper discs. At the same time, picked up some adjustab...

Welcome Kyle!
Even since I read about using a jet ski motor in a boat,....I've been seeing old jet skis in peoples' yards for sale.
But,....building my boat will a challenge in itself.

Good Luck,
John
