Hi Curt,

I'm glad to hear you are safe and your excellent boat performed well so far. I'm disappointed that we won't get your updates, and look forward to the continuing saga of Curt's Dream.

That's too bad you couldn't continue. But it wouldn't be much fun commuting from fuel stop to fuel stop without seeing the sites. If Canada will be closed ,as you say, to recreational travel,I guess I won't be going up on the lake as well. We're keeping an eye on the Manitoba border to see if they relax their regs concerning tourist travel.Mom has a full camp this year and since theres only one road(goes through Manitoba) coming up to the Angle.Beats me how thorough we have to clean each cabin after each guest.

Just a heads up for everyone that have been following our travels on the Great Loop. We plan on trailering the boat back down to Jacksonville Florida at the end of March 2021 and launch at the same place where we stopped last year due to the covid-19 virus. We will then continue on the Great Loop and travel up the East coast to the Hudson River and the Erie canal. We will make a decision when we get to the Erie canal, which way to then proceed depending on if the Canadian border is open. It is still closed at this time.

So stay tuned for travel updates around the first part of April.

Good to see you back at it. Our Tourism last season kinda sucked.Lost alot of reservations as Canada was closed to non-essentials.We got a few of the ones that stay a month or more-they had to brave the open water on south side of lake with their own boat or take passenger ferry(30 ft Sportsman launch)

Ken's:

After we launch, I will bring the van and trailer back to our house in Iowa. Then I will either travel back to Florida by train or get a rental car. Kinda a hassle, but we will complete the loop back on the Illinois river so will need the trailer up in that area. It's about 200 miles from our house to where we will complete the Great Loop on the Illinois river.

Yes we are back on the loop. Tonight, 4/6 we are docked in Brunswick, Ga. Will head out tomorrow and should make Savannah, GA in a couple days. Got pictures and story that I will post in a few days.

Oh, you went by the car carrier ship they are breaking up??
Rumor has it there is a Ford GT40 in there.
If you come up to the wharf in Savannah, we can get a beer on the waterfront.
