Yep, I have a list of names, but who knows in the years to come before completion what it will end up.

That's what we do as well. To keep the rest of the family interested in my Mist Miss build, (Kids: "Will it be done soon?" - "You bet!" (I recently completed Frame 2)), we have a boat name file, which as of now is up to around 100 name possibilities. Of those 50-60 are no-go's, at least for this project, but were worth writing down. Several contributions were based on family vacations (several Hawaiian-themed names, several New Orleans-themed names, etc.)

Of the remaining 40, I have a short-list (around 10) that'll be strong contenders. But a lot will have to be based on how the completed (or at least flipped) boat looks and feels. Secretly I believe my son blurted out the eventual name without really realizing it - everyone laughed and dismissed it, but it's currently in the Top 3 of possibilities.

I also loved this one (for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy fans), but definitely can't take credit for their creativity:

Definitely have fun with it!
