Who could have thought a name and placement of that name was such a hard decision haha

Looks almost ready to launch!

Can i ask what you used to waterproof the hull eg what you painted it with? I was thinking i'd use acrylic clear on my boat when the time comes but i'm not sure.

The hull is sealed with 3 coats of epoxy resin and 3 coats of a 2 part epoxy paint.
Not sure how it will stand up, but Ill wait and see.

I have one issue I hadnt thought about. How the hell do I get into the boat from the bank on my
own? Hmmmmm.

Actually it was a play on the word "bank" from which you would withdraw money. The word "slip" was an incidental addition, as in boat slip.
"It was fourth down and the team was forced to drop back and "pun"

Gday everyone.
Im getting very excited now as I only have minor things to complete on the boat. I also need to go shopping for a suitable trailer to buy then its launch time. Never did I think I would get so far. Many people at work have doubted me which is enough inspiration to finish. Can you believe they are even taking bets that it sinks and have named it the titanic 2. Loverly bunch of blokes I work with hahaha. The trailer I have it sitting on is not suitable its just a dummy one for the time been. Moreeeee pics

Depending on how big you are you might need to rub yourself down with axle grease and "slip" yourself in. Good luck. Personally, it's a tight fit for me in my little Squirt; but it's lots of fun.

Oh I fit in it alright its just the getting in and out of it Im worried about. If I have to push it out from the bank a little how am I going to hoist myself up and over into the boat.

YOu could always push off with a paddle.

That is, if you can fit one in the boat with you.

Yes I have 2 paddles clipped into the boat. 1 either side. You can see them I think in the third picture These are required by law here along with a bucket, torch and fire extinguisher.
