Re: PeeWee Build
Another update. Put the decking on and the dash. I also filled the screw holes and put a coat of resin on the deck.
Gotta work fast with the resin, today reached 91 deg

Re: PeeWee Build
I have two older evinrudes that were just completly rebuilt from the prop up. One is a 6hp, and the other is a 8hp. Im going to try them both out to see which one works better and gives the best performance.
Re: PeeWee Build
Have you seen the You tube video with the little girl in the Pee Wee or the other one on muskoka sea flea site?

Re: PeeWee Build
I have seen them both.
The one with the little girl rides a lot smoother than the other video. The muskakoa video rides kinda bow high and bounces alot. Both are great videos showing how the peewee looks and rides. And how differntly you can finish the peewee.

Ahhh! The old blue-painters-tape-to-keep-members-identified trick!rjwittmann wrote:Sorry,Its blue painters tape for labeling so the frames did not get mixed before i put them together.

Re: PeeWee Build
Splashed the PeeWee this past weekend.
My son demanded
that we give it a trial run before we put the window, lights, and hardware on. Ordered some seats today. Its going to have a 8hp 2stroke with foward mounted controls and steering. It got alot of compliments and photo's taken from on lookers. I will send an update after everything is installed.

2 months from start to splash! You've been busy!!!! I think the small boats have the most fun!!!!
Re: PeeWee Build
Looks fantastic, well done. I cant believe how quickly you've completed it.
Ive slowed right down on mine as we are coming into winter so nothing is drying very well.

The PeeWee resting calmly after a long day of hauling us around.
Hmmmmmmm, I think he's trying to sneak back out on his boat.
