Lots more screws, not quite to the front, need to trim so the left and right sides don't foul. Angle grinder?

Screwed the other side most of the way, trimmed it, then screwed the rest. Paint will hopefully hide the screws!

Don't worry about having to use the grinder. I built LIL INSANE entirely using a grinder ( with cutting discs, sanding discs ) and a small cordless screwdriver in a gravel driveway for most of it. Money was tight and I used what I had. Turned out alright.

I used the planer this side, split the transom, aargh.

I've done that. Try to keep the blade edge moving into the plywood. I mixed some epoxy and pushed it into the split laminations. I then stapled the plys together. Came out very strong. Done have any pictures, sorry.chubs wrote:I used the planer this side, split the transom, aargh.
