Tunnel mite chine to bow piece

Post by LelandNH » Wed Jan 30, 2019 1:22 pm

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had clear photos of how the chine is connected to the bow piece on the tunnel mite. It is not very clear in the black and white photos on the plans. I have searched and haven’t found any photos of this on the forum or the web.

Thanks

The chine is notched into the bowpiece. See Gary Knight and Barry Locke's photos in our Galleries:

Thanks Gayle, I have looked at the pictures. They don’t show the junction of the chine and the bow piece. It’s okay, I will figure it out.

Have a look at www.boatbuilders.glen-l.com/tunnel-mite ... eve-powers

A block attached to the bow "ear" and the chine attached to the block. Lots of fairing at that end I bet.
