Update Engine installed and Test Run and Launch on Lake Marburg, Hanover PA, Will post final pictures Mid to late August after Upholstery complete.
Finished Boat weight 600# with 25 HP Yamaha Four Stroke long shaft, 740# Test run with Crew and Fuel/equip 1000# Top speed at 6000 RPM 29 MPH, at 5500 RPM 28 MPH, Very happy with Marks Zip Kit and Seat Kit, I will still say build time 30-40 percent time saving, If I was able to work in a heated garage Boat can be built in 6-7 months estimated time for a beginner like me 500-700 hours! I did not track time that accurate, because I built it for Fun! My boating experience is includes ASA Sailing Instructor, owning boats for over 25 years, Last Boat was a Nordic Tug 26, which cruised the Erie Canal, Lake Champlain, Down the Hudson River, ICW back to Homeport Annapolis, this is my downsizing Boat, fits in normal size garage and is easy to Tow!!

Congrats! Youre getting the same speed on 25hp as mine did with a 1975 Mercury 40hp!

The kit version definitely results in a nice light boat.

Building a malahini "Mona Lisa"

My wife said "If I build a boat, she's getting a divorce."
We're still happily married, but now she just wants "the dam boat out of the garage."
