Re: Aussie Belle
HI Ian,
We have had only minor local flooding (Water cutting off roads for a few hours) and some areas where it will take a while to go down.
The northern passenger rail line got washed away last week and cut off all rail traffic but was fixed within the day.
I live on a hill so the water doesn't effect us much unless we are driving anywhere.
We have had over 1400 mm from start of December to now.

Re: Aussie Belle
Hi all,
Well I have managed to get back to moving forward on the Belle.
Has been a while since any progress has been made.
I have been buying some bits and pieces when I can, I am now on a better work roster which should allow me some build time.
Pics of dry fitting of rub rail and pop up cleats, installed hinges
For hatch (needs a bit more work around hatch area).
Next is sand and stain.

Welcome back Jamie. Pass on my regards to your dad. I am doing the flip on my boat this week-end.

Welcome back Jamie. It's funny how we all go through these slumps. Important thing is to keep moving forward On days when I absolutely do not feel like doing anything, I will go out and do something for 15 minutes. Small steps, but it moves me forward and I feel a bit better about it.

Another couple with cpes
Timber inlay looks red in the pics but it does match the rest of boat, must be the lighting, I had also just applied cpes to this section

Works a treat, I made it quite thick and pushed it in with a scrapper,
Hope to finish the rest before I head back to work on Thursday

Jenko, Looks great. If you didn't say it was your first attempt, I never would have guessed.
