Hi Jamie
Boat is looking fantastic. Good to see you are back into it. Hopefully we can have have a "Gathering" again soon. How is your father and the Riviera, as we haven't heard any reports for a while?

I hope to see another Aussie Gathering soon! We probably won't be able to make it this time. But, I hope you'll have one!

Thanks Peter and Alan,
I am keen and will be ready for a gathering next year!
The old man pretty well hasn’t touched his build since we left the gathering.
I have today completed and fitted the spray rails, also cut out the dash and glued on an edge strip.
Going to work on the seating next and make the exhaust tips, got a quote and they want in excess of a $1,000.00 bucks!!!!

Looking good Jamie . A gathering would be great. How did your Dad fair in the Bush Fire ,I see they evacuated his town ,how will it affect you and your family today .We had to evacuate when Ash Wednesday fire got within 500 metres of our place back in 1986.
Stay Safe

Hi Ian,
Sorry haven’t been able to respond as I haven’t been able to access the forum
The old man stayed at home during the fires, they are all good at the moment
No problems where I am only a bit of smoke but not good for some in the area losing some homes.
Will keep in touch as I will have boat finished in the next couple of months and am looking forward to catching up with you all soon

Ok 2 of the seats are done and working on the third. I am also doing armrests with cup holders, so framing for them is done.
Happy so far!

Looks great! Be careful with the heat down there. Maybe early morning work sessions. Even if you have AC in your work area, you can probably get it down to about 95*F or 32*C. Be careful.

Thanks Bill,
We are having quite good weather in my neck of the woods,
By the time I get in the shed at night time it is down to about 24 degrees so quite pleasant

Cupholders are very important. They are high on my list to add to my boat

I am getting back into the build daily now. Gotta get this boat in the water!
Worked on the rear cockpit floor and side panels.
Will be an armrest on the open section with the cup holder.
Pic of my flush mount ski tow as well.
