Cool that you can get an LED "festoon" bulb. I never knew what it was called. I think I'll wait until the one it came with burns out.

:D ordered new glass for front of pilothouse-will be safety(like car windshield) not tempered.side windows were plexi and they're not scratched up so will use those for now.got new tablesaw similar to old one.picking up a few more tools and parts for "Chug" :D

Hey Tim, you could put armor plate up front. !! :lol: :lol:

Seriously, I think either safety or tempered will be fine. Unless you take it out in rough seas, I doubt you will ever get any kind of a wave over the bow strong enough to break it. A friend of mine has a 28 foot BlueJacket with tempered glass in front and I have yet to see or hear of any issues with that.

:D suppose I could use plywood instead of glass and install back -up cameras all around.wouldn't want the battery to die tho :lol:

:D I was cleaning out a shed this morning and came accross 4 panels of tempered glass I forgot I had.Coarse they're a little too wide and too short to fit pilothouse.If I had known I had those when I built pilothouse,I would have built different.GRRRRRRRRRRR. :evil:

:D now why didn't I think of that. :lol: :lol:was thinking on one of those fold-up stairways that one puts in garage to access the attic I was going to use it to access roof racks easily.not sure how much they stick up on top. 8)

:D got the last windshield/window glued today.other 2 are mounted.used tinted safety glass.

:D Good day ,today.went in and applied for hin # .sent all the slips that I had in to state.hope they won't charge too much more.it was 54 bucks for title and registration good for 3 years .now if we had some higher water.the inlet is opening up and water is really low. :D

Chug,

It's looking good. Watching your progress has kept the Bo-jest near the top of the list of my next boat to build.
