Looking good. Got some real cool originality pieces. The Dolphin windshield frames and the compass are neat touches.
I was going to do my floor similar to yours with an intarsia inlay, but my wife opted for carpet. Lol.
Looking great.

Nice touches on the windshield frames. The best part of watching these builds is seeing how everyone adds their own bit of flair to the design. Really cool!!
Re: The Fletchers Malahini
Ok the winter has slowed me a little but I always try do a little something each day. Since I haven't posted in a while this little each day has added up. I have just did another dry fit(how many do you do?) after adding ribbon Sapele to side boxes and seat frames. I also gave my wood guy(south jersey lumbermans) my top side patterns so he can pick out some mahogany boards and mill them down to 3/8. I am going to remove and sand everything before re-installing and permanently screwing and gluen. Then I plan on finish sanding everything and applying the 2 part poly. If anyone has some advise for me, or a another way I should go please let me know. This is the final push for the interior and I want it to go as smooth as I can. We are thinking red seats and white side panels.

Looking great! Your plan of dry fitting, then installing/epoxying, then finishing seems reasonable to me. It helps you make sure things will turn out the way you want them. The detail on the floor of your boat is awesome!

Re: The Fletchers Malahini
Thanks for the reply's everyone. I am starting to get going again now that the weather is getting nicer here. I epoxied the side boxes and seat frames in, and started to get the wood rough get for the deck. I still have to finish the interior with poly. I also did the engine cowl with new decals and trim.
Hope to get this all finishe d for boating season. I plan on going to the DMV soon to get a registration for the trailer. Build on everybody!!
