It’s coming along nicely. In Michigan, I had to have all of my receipts with me to get a title.

I have started to apply the Epifanes 2 part poly to the interior, I can't find any info on how many coats to apply? I did put 3 on the outside of the hull but don't know if 2 is enough? And is 3 just over doing it? Also went to the DMV to see about getting the trailer I got off craigslist registered. I don't have the guys name (lost it), so I was going to register it as homemade, what would be the easiest way to go about this? I don't have a lot of receipts(wood for the bunks, and tire I purchased for a spare). If I say it was given to me from a friend who used it on his property and never registered it would that work? And of course the boat is on the trailer now so I have to remove it to get it weighted. If anyone has gone through this already let me know. Thanks

Does the trailer have a VIN on it? If so you may be able to track down the previous owner to get a bill of sale.

If there's no VIN, then I think it it will be somewhat straightforward to register it as a homebuilt trailer, but I'd probably call your local DMV first.

I will get my trailer registration soon. The interior is almost finished 3 coats of poly on, need to make side panels and figure out the upholstery. We were thinking white sides and red seats. Next I will start the decking. :D Thanks for all the comments!

Very nice. I like the lighting. Did you sew the pleats?

Had to go back a ways, must have missed some of these postings. You've done some really really nice work there. Already a head turner and you've not finished. Congrats on some fine work.

Thanks, have been moving along with more time on my hands. I have ordered my seat vinyl and foam. Going with bright red on the seats, also put the deck boards on and filled the seams with colored epoxy. I followed Biss build and have followed his lead with my seams, there is a lot of influences of previous builds in this. Thanks to all that have posted photos and gave me ideas and inspirations.
