Bandido Center Console

Post by marnold »

After reviewing the Bandido design, I believe it would be an exceptional fishing boat. I'm hoping to add a center console and use the twin outboard design with 2x 200hp engines. Can anyone share their thoughts or concerns about this plan. Any replies would be great.

Thanks

I deleted the cabin on Double Eagle plans.
I am not running the power that you are speaking of, but I did delete the cabin and build it into a center console.

Thanks for the reply. That makes me feel more confident that I am on the right track. I plan to replace the cabin with a v seating area. I'll keep everyone posted as I plan to start the build in Oct.

Any news on your Bandido build? I'm also considering this model...
Cheers.

Did you end up doing the centre console layout? I am also looking at this but run 2 x 250-300hp outboards. Be interested to know the stability of the hull at rest being so skinny
