Air Horn

Post by shep »

Have been thinking about adding a real air horn with compressor. Has anyone done this and have any recommendations on best product or setup? Wondering how much room compressor takes up and best location to install. Alternatively, are there any electric horns that give you similar effect as air??

Nothing sounds as good, or loud, as an airhorn. We put a Kahlenberg setup on the Torpedo. The compressor was mounted under the sole boards and the tank mounted up front beyond the foot wells. No issues. Here is a link. Shop around for the best price. They aren't cheap.
