AG2 Gathering - Where this year?

Well folks, this year is steaming along and nobody has mentioned our second Australian Gathering.

Has anybody had any bright ideas on where to have it this year?

Hawkesbury River? Clarence River?
Noosa river... Like this one, close to home...

Mighty Murray???

Could everybody that might attend AG2, post their postcode and suburb or city here please? I can import them into Google maps to get a feeling of spread to help choose the gathering.

The location last year was great as far as a Meet & Greet location. But, it was a little short on the dock and ramp. It all worked out with the Great people. Wish I could come. The Koala was an extra.

I looked hard at Boathaven. Couldn't really see any facilities to suit our needs.

Just had a quick look at Hume and same there. There does not seem to be an abundance of places with docking facilities. Some have beach type access, but is that good enough for our purpose?

Lake Mulwala has this spot which at least has some docking facilities http://www.shorelinecp.com.au/
I checked it out last year and it looked ok ,but same situation with boat ramp .
That about covers all the spots near me

Thanks for looking. I have been trawling the net for suitable sites but have yet to find anything even vaguely similar to the US facilities. Hopefully somebody might have some local knowledge that might point to something.
Noosa and the Maroochy River are near me and have "some" limited facilities but don't have accommodation enough for us.

This is a really difficult question to answer. We've been thru it several times. It's hard to find a good place.

Shoreline looks like it might be do-able. At least there are some sort of docking facilities from the photos I can see. Some cabins are right there so a little security for our boats.

Logan, Queensland 4130. The public ramp at Port Macquarie was perfect, pity about the accommodation. Maybe we find better accommodation in PM. The ramp (with pontoon) doesn't have to be attached to the accommodation, the important thing is security and storage of the boats. Remember the Noosa Classic is on the 25th October.

Lake Macquarie (NSW) may be worth a look, check out BIG 4 Monteray Tourist Park

Or BIG4 Holiday Park - Forster-Tuncurry on Wallis Lake may be another good option
