6oz cloth transparency

Post by billy c »

am testing samples of system 3's 6oz cloth over mahogany (stained fairly dark) primed with silvertip epoxy allowed to dry then cloth applied. can see tiny "flecks" of cloth. hard to believe that it did not wet out so am wondering if they are caused when the 2 strands of fiberglass cross. (the cloth appeared transparent over the lighter unstained mahogany) anyone else experience this. and if so am improving the situation by getting 4oz cloth.
thanks!

Pictures? ....possibly?
Isn't it amazing!! The person that never has the fortitude to pursue his own dreams, will be the first to try and discourage you from pursuing yours.
