I'll be there with my little brown dog again and my wife will likely do another fly in, fly out appearance. We differ on a few details when it comes to covering 600 miles.

When you call Hales Bar. PLEASE identify that you are with the boat builders. The floating cabins are all blocked out for us. The staff has pretty much become part of the group. If they know. they will take care of you.

They blocked all the floating cabins for us. I think there are 6-8 open right now. They blocked the big land cabins that Neel T and Kevin B usually take. Go ahead and call there is no risk. They know we're good and will make changes along the way. There are also other land cabins. We're a good group for them. But, so far we have never taken everything. There are other options nearby.

Were it not for upholstery coming up, I'd book. I called them and got pricing. Hopefully a float cabin will be available after this last big money push. I will have to see. Don't rule me out yet, but I'm going to get her finished this summer. With the exception of a cutwater......

Glenda and I arrived in Guntersville, AL (50 miles downriver from Hales Bar) today after spending the last 7 days bringing Genesis up from Demopolis, AL. (13 locks in 7 days-

I am determined not to miss the Gathering this year.
We will keep Genesis docked here for the summer, taking grandkids to Chattanooga (4 day round trip from here), then see you all at the Gathering, before heading back south.
