I was looking for something in our WebLetter archives and found an interesting article that was published in Mechanix Illustrated in 1969 about powering the Glen-L TNT with a Jacuzzi jet. Thought you folks might find it interesting:

That's an interesting read- thanks for posting that! A 21hp air cooled Kohler coupled to a jet drive is so simple! I especially liked the article with the jet drive cracker box, that is one beautiful boat! Gives me an idea for my next build since I already have the c-box plans...maybe a v-drive!

I recall seeing a photo in a vintage Glen-L catalog, showing a Pee Wee powered by a Berkeley jet pump.

Yes Mark, the Pee Wee was built by Berkeley Pump Company for their 5J5 jet pump and that option used to be detailed in the plans until they discontinued that pump.
