Am i supposed to notch the #1 & 2 frames for the bottom batten? The plans don't show it. However HZCHEVY seems to have done so here: download/file.php?id=2773&mode=view

Thanks chug, I plan on fairing it all flat. I have a hell of a belt sander that will make short work of it.

I tend to agree with chugalug on this one. Just leave the screws in place. I countersunk my screws in for added security. They didn't hinder my fairing at all.

So i'm wondering now, is there any trick to installing the curvey pieces, where the bottom of the boat meets the side? I guess i'll do them next?
