Rebuilding the trailer from under the boat

Recently there is some topic(s) on trailers, disc vs drum, bunks, and getting your boat build onto the trailer.
I'm in process of a 15 year maintenance on my trailer, pulled it out from under the boat. (and painting the boat)
My build is 25' inboard. I have no way to pick up the boat from overhead, so I had to do it all from the ground.
Here is some pics if this helps.

I started by finding out what it takes to lift the transom. I found out I could pick up either corner of transom with a crowbar.
Wood block piles and wedges, and cribbing was good enough, albeit slow. A game of inches.

Picking up the transom with crowbar, and a bottle jack under the bow, I finally got it up on blocks.
I am a fan of wood wedges, I like them. They are a good safety measure, as you pick up a load keep sliding wedge in, the load cannot fall.

it is a slow PITA process, it is a tandem axle trailer with 3 cross members. the bow jack & blocks had to be moved 5 times to get the trailer out.

I took trailer apart and reassembled under "Chug".PITA.It worked tho.

Yes, I am less worried about lifting the boat than by getting the right trailer for the job. I think in my case, jacking up the dolly like I was leveling the boat until the boat is high enough to remove it and clear the trailer is probably the way to go. But got to get a trailer first.

Here is new carpet on the aft bunks.
Notice a bevel on the top, to match the vee bottom.
Even tho they are fixed bunks, there is no need for them to be adjustable.
Remember the concerned effort we all put into making the boat aft running bottom straight-flat-true?
That same flat running bottom sits on top of the aft bunks,

Then the forward bunks are adjusted to suit.

Bleeding brakes day. Here is the setup I use for oil changes and brakes.
Perhaps Rube Goldberg looking, but it works for me.
I prefer to pull brake fluid down to the vacuum tank rather than pump pressure the master cylinder.
Same with oil changes, I use the vacuum tank to suck it out.

I used vacuum to bleed brakes on my airplanes. Way better than pumping pedals. I had a similar setup but manual vacuum pump.

I get a lot of milage out of that little rig, it actually a HVAC vacuum pump, but it gets time with oil, brakes, and of course, AirCon.

It's a nice setup. Not Rube at all. We used a lot of vacuum setups to evacuate gas circuit breakers. Some really big, some smaller and more simple than yours. What ever it takes.

And it can do vacuum bag epoxy layups also.
Neither does one have to have the real-deal HVAC pump.
You can jerk the compressor out of a refridgerator, freezer, or air conditioner and you can still pull a vacuum with it

Just found out the Kodiak disc caliper parts interchange with GM cars.
