Glen-L History

Circa 1940: Barry Witt, Lawrence Loper (boatbuilder friend of Glen's), Glen Witt. This 3-point hydro was built by Glen, but was never finished or tested. It was sold to put money into Glenwood.

Circa 1954: Glen's office in Compton, California. There are two frame kits in the background. Glen made the drafting table; it is the same one he uses today.

Before 1980: Ken Hankinson and mentor, Glen L Witt.

Circa 1980. Left to right, back row: Allyn Perry (shop foreman), Ken Hankinson, Gretchen (Allyn's dog), Kirk Neighburger (warehouse, blueprinting, etc.), Barry Witt
Front row: LaVonne McCulloch (office manager), Evelyn Stuart (office assistant)

Circa 1982: Darla Schooler (new office manager)

Circa 1982: Ken Hankinson standing at the drafting table.

1989: Allyn and I were shooting pictures of the Power Skiff at a local bay. After about 20 passes, so I could shoot the boat in action... Allyn got bored. This is typical of Allyn's sense of humor. His favorite parts of making the videos were the not-always-accidental "out takes". I think he and Leakcheck would get along well.
