: A question for those of you who have encapsulated your boat with epoxy. When do you paint the interior?

: I have the frames and transom built for a Carioca Design. I've not encapsulated them yet but I plan to. Plankng will begin in about two weeks and I would really appreciate advice from someone experienced with encapsulation.

: Thanks

Encapsulate first, paint later. The encapsulating layer bonds to the wood *(after all, it's glue.) Then you can lithtly sand, then paint. THE MORE DRIPS IN THE ENCAPSULATING, THE LONGER YOU WILL HAVE TO SAND LATER. Be Clean.
