I powered the boat with a 1998 4.3 LH 205 hp Merc with Alpha drive. I also built your trailer. I am enjoying the project, and when finished will take it to Rockport, TX, on the Gulf.
I would like to pass on this update on the Kona Kai that I built 3 years ago. I found the fly bridge to be cramped and made this modification.The boat is now docked in Rockport, TX Thank you Charles Newbold
