There's no doubt about it. The big luxury runabouts are the smash hits at the nation's boat shows. There's no doubt about the price of these high performance jobs either. The factory built ones are a rich man's toy. But now Glen-L brings this high performance luxury runabout within the reach of the masses of amateur builders.

The BOLERO is a thoroughbred in all respects. She features a full length deep vee hull with a 20 degree deadrise. The critically placed lift strakes deflect spray, provide quick planing, and aid directional stability. Lightweight strong double diagonally planked plywood on the bottom permits a bulbous keel section for a soft entry, and a reverse curve at the chine for a dry ride. The reversed sheer line permits unobstructed vision across the bow of the boat at any speed. Plush comfort and fun begins on the sun deck which is roomy enough for two adults. Forward of this is a self-draining cockpit complete with L shaped lounge seat and a business-like control station in keeping with the high performance concept. If you decide to spend the night, there's a two-berth cabin below the foredeck. Below the sun deck, at the heart of this beauty, is the powerplant. There's plenty of room down there for single or twin engines either gasoline or diesel powered.

COMPLETE PLANS include FULL SIZE PATTERNS for stem, breasthook, and half-section patterns for the frames and transom. Includes instructions, Bill of Materials, and Fastening Schedule.
